This is an entry-level arts job, modeling for photography. We are seeking a motivated Studio Art Model to pose for fine art photography.
No prior modeling experience is required. If you have a background in theater, runway modeling, dance, gymnastics, cheer, yoga, or athletics, that experience may be especially valuable.
About the Role
- Flexible scheduling and No long-term commitment required
- Available Monday–Friday, arranged week by week
- Session length: 4–6 hours
- All work is paid hourly, same day
- Competitive pay: $50-$60 per hour
The ideal candidate will have most of the following:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic body awareness and familiarity with the work involved in a studio art environment.
- Comfort in standing/sitting for figure modeling
- Flexibility and strength to achieve a variety of poses
- Helpful skills include theater, runway modeling, gymnastics, dance, and yoga
Responsibilities:
Modeling in a professional studio
Punctuality and professionalism is expected
Models work varying sessions, as scheduled
Minimum Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Past modeling experience is not required.
About the Studio
We are an independent art studio producing editions for collectors and the luxury interior design market. Finished artworks are sold as limited edition prints through major dealers (details available upon request). Publication may take significant time after your sessions and modeling does not always result in publication.
Themes include models posed within the studio, or with automobiles, tropical scenery, or other creative scenarios. Some modeling shoots may be weather dependent.

Aaron Knight is seeking a part-time assistant to support his creative photography. The Artist’s Assistant role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a professional artist. You’ll gain hands-on experience in art production and sales, including recruiting talent, coordinating shoots, marketing, and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate is reliable, persistent, and ready to learn the full sequence of duties as follows.
Duties
- Assist with models: recruiting, scheduling, and keeping them ready for successful photo shoots.
- Photo shoots: setup equipment, recharge and store equipment, as well as assisting in the construction of sets and props.
- Administrative responsibilities include updating art listings with dealers, posting advertisements, and packing purchased items for shipment.
- Bring your own skills and interests, for example learn to develop black and white film or jewelry making.
Compensation and perks

Preferred experience
- One or more years experience in the arts is desired
