Art Sales Representative

Selling art requires experience and perseverance. For this reason we are looking for someone with an education in arts management, or related fields, who has the deep knowledge of luxury and aspirational luxury markets to go along with this role.

This is a commission-based role, meaning a highly-successful candidate will be well rewarded. Be aware that you will be required to devise your own methods for creating this success. Selling art is not easy.

  • Compensation is 100% commission, no advance payment

Interview

As a pre-screening, you will participate in a phone interview. You should be prepared to answer and discuss the following questions:

  • What is the difference in strategy between the luxury market and the aspirational luxury market?
  • How do you plan to generate leads to sell Aaron Knight’s fine art photography?
  • (After hearing demographics of past buyers) How might this influence your approach?
  • How do you plan to reach potential buyers with your message?
